Ryse - Environment Art

Artwork from the Polycount Art dump. There were a huge amount of artists working on these shots (75 in total internally and externally combined) and the only credit I can take here is for greyboxing the York levels, giving feedback and direction, sketches, paintovers and chasing up pipelines to make sure the artists had what they needed.

My main focus was leading the environment team and feedback on assets from Outsourcing (Elite 3D and the Crytek Kiev studio were exceptional to work with). My initial team was 6 I think that grew to 35 internal artists at one point across lighting, vfx, out source artists (the guys dealing with our vendors), prop and environment and concept. Later on I got to work with Cinematic Design, the Cinematic Director and Animation too.

I don't want to single people out but big up to the core Frankfurt environment team who put together the bulk of the work here: Hayo Koekkoek, Liam Cullen, Alan Thomas, Sina Els, Finn Matthiesen, Pascal Mueller, Luke Adwick, Tracy Hudson, Lluis Andreu, Patrick Gladys, Armin Chaudry, Frank Meinl, Robert Hodri, Ronny Muehle Stefan Heinrich, Tom Deerburg and Adam Sanders.
